I grew up in the great Canadian wilderness, in a small northern Ontario mining town. As a young girl I was a full-fledged tomboy, running wild in the woods with the boys, climbing trees and getting into mischief. I was born with a number of chronic health issues and this led me to earning a degree in Holistic Nutrition.
So, why do I want to help men over forty lose weight?
I see men everywhere struggling. They are expected to muddle through, man up and figure out how to lose weight on their own. For some things great, that works, but when it comes to losing weight many men are lost and confused. This saddens me because I have male friends, male family members, and two sons. I am invested in seeing men thrive.
Most nutritionists and weight loss programs are focused on women's health and those for men tend to be ultra macho and focused on hitting the gym 6 days a week. The men I talk to just want to lose weight and regain their health without living at the gym or having a 6-pack!
I am focused on helping men over forty who want to maintain a healthy weight, regain the energy that they had when they were younger, but who don't want to kill themselves at the gym to achieve results.

I was born with a number of chronic health issues which became exacerbated in my teen years by several poor lifestyle choices. At that point, due to my health concerns, I learned through trial and error, how my choice of food not only affected my health. This led me to earning a degree in Holistic Nutrition.
So, why do I want to help men over forty lose weight?
I see men everywhere struggling. They are expected to muddle through, man up and figure out how to lose weight on their own. For some things great, that works, but when it comes to losing weight many men are lost and confused. This saddens me because I have male friends, male family members, and two sons. I am invested in seeing men thrive.
Most nutritionists and weight loss programs are focused on women's health and those for men tend to be ultra macho and focused on creating a body builder type physique. This is unattainable for most men, much the same as it's unattainable for most women to look like a lingerie model.
I am focused on helping men over forty who want to maintain a healthy weight, regain the energy that they had when they were younger, but who don't want to kill themselves at the gym to achieve results.
